Author Visit Rates
Each session is 45 minutes in length unless otherwise discussed. Travel expenses may apply if considerable travel is required.

One Session: $250
Two Sessions: $450
Three Sessions: $600
Four Sessions: $750
Funding Opportunity for Ontario Schools
As a member of the Writers’ Union of Canada, Aimee is considered an eligible author for the Ontario Writers in the Schools program. This designation means that schools may apply to receive partial funding for a visit from Aimee.
Applications to the program must be received at least four weeks in advance of a visit. Please note that requests are approved on a first-come, first-served basis, and funding is usually fully dispersed before the session period ends.
The Ontario Writers in the Schools program runs for two sessions during the year:
- September–March, for which applications may be submitted beginning in May
- April–August, for which applications may be submitted beginning in December
